Research project for UK students - title: Research on How useful Facebook in our daily life

Becoming more and more united with other parts of our lives, Facebook is touching out of the boundaries of a distinctive social network. The most popular social networking website in the world is Facebook. In recent times,Facebook is increasingly more important to any aspect of our life(Business insider 2010).Over 800 million users’ uses this social networking website. It is one of the most trafficked website right now next only to Google. Facebook users have been growing rapidly in comparison to other website users. It has become important for individuals from various sectors including people studying, working or living at home (Telegraph 2010).It has also become an integral part of a lot of companies who utilize it for contacting customers and for marketing and brand building. Facebook is also bringing added features like Facebook. Facebook presents a very good promotional opportunity for companies (Andy, K. 2009).As a lot of individuals are joining social networking websites; it has become an integral part of a lot of organizations. It is used as an extremely effective way for marketing the products or services (You Tube 2010).The social network has become a good place to showcase the products and services for free. So, trust and brand building can be improved not only with the current buyers but also for the new prospects(Daniel, N. 2009).Information can be spread very fast using these websites(Schroeder, S. 2011).
The social network Facebook has made the clients to be more acquainted with the organizations, which is a golden rule of marketing. It facilitates companies to have conversations directly with the customers. Promotion on Facebook can be performed in two methods(The next web 2009).The first is by utilizing their official Facebook Pages and the other is by using Groups. Facebook Groups can be used for bringing together groups of Facebook users together; who share similar interests, while in Pages users can interact with the page owner or among themselves (Canven 2008).The social network is free but also provides a chance to organizations to buy Facebook ads. These Facebook Ads have also become a very good promotional strategy nowadays for companies (Richmond, R. 2007). Being a social networking site, many teens use it to keep in touch with one another (Daily Trojan 2010).It is used by students to meet their friends and loved ones including those who are in contact or the ones who are not in contact for a large period of time. Young Facebook users also like to share photographs and their personal information including their daily routine and interests. They can send notes to their contacts and post it too. Some students use Facebook to keep in contact with their teachers to clear up doubts (Web master view 2007).Some teachers also use the social network to improve their learning. Facebook presents the ability to work together, imparting new ideas or information and discussing about the topics or subjects of interest. Some mobile phones include Facebook, which provides the feature to check up to date Facebook posts, status and other information (The daily beast 2008).

Range of sources of questioners
For any type of research, the related information is must. For collecting the information there are different techniques. One of them, one of the most popular data collection techniques, is questionnaire based technique. For collecting the information, the researched will make a set of question within a question form regarding research matter. In my survey researcher also used the questionnaire research related questions in a well organized form.  There are 5 questions are made by the researcher. Researcher made the 5 questions for the research survey purpose. In this data collection technique, the questions will be served to the related groups who are related to the proposed purpose of the research. The group of people may be enormous. But in comparison to the researcher’s capacity, the entire group may not be surveyed by the researcher. On the other hand the cost to cover the entire group may highly costly. For that researcher will select randomly or chronologically from the selected group to form a sample of the people. This will be called the sample size. The more the sample size will be big, the more the result will be accurate. In this research the same size for the collection of necessary information is 30 who are engaged with the use of Facebook, the largest social media to connect the people. In this research, after selecting the 30 Facebook users from the online and researcher collect their daily purpose and in this case the investigator try to make these questions according to fulfill the aim and objective of research project. There is an online survey which is conducted by the researcher on 30 Facebook users and it is selected, 15 Bangladeshi, 7 UK friends of researcher and rest of the responds are African, Pakistani, Indian, American, Australian and Chinese people.
